Round 4
- Viomencia - Grows aura, then attacks Rory. The first misses thanks to Mirror Image, but the second hits, and her attacks do Psychic damage, so Rory takes it all. Then she uses her Jaunt ability (essentially a teleport) to move away, then uses movement to get further away.
- Rory - Chases her as she's proving to be a nuisance, uses Hasted action to Dash further, then unleashes four attacks on her using Action Surge. All attacks hit, and uses Blinding Smite on the final attack to blind her and deal a bit of extra damage. One whole extra damage thanks to the Charger feat. At the end of Rory's turn, Viomencia uses a Villainous action to suddenly bulge and twist, looking more corrupted, growing eye stalks, and healing for a boatload of HP, using her Amethyst Charm ability. This also Charms Rory. Great. She forces Rory to move his full movement toward the airship then take a crossbow attack at Lim Dul. Luckily Rory misses. Then Viomencia gets to move even further away, then the Charmed condition drops on Rory. Rory also takes 30 Psychic damage for hitting her four times. Ouch.
- Friar Karl - Moves behind a room on the deck then casts Minor Heal on himself as he's near death.
- Freya - Still invisible. Extends her spell range to cast an Acidball that'd be JUST within range of Viomencia, doing a bit of damage. Converts Pact Magic slot into two Sorcery Points.
- Lim Dul - Uses Infernal Conduit to Invigorate Friar Karl, healing him for a bit, and also damaging Lim Dul for the same amount. We have Beacon of Hope up, which means that Lim Dul heals Friar Karl for 40 HP (as he uses all four of his d10), and takes the same amount as damage. Lim Dul then quaffs a Potion of Superior Healing, which also benefits from the Beacon of Hope, healing him for 40 HP, then lays a Potion of Greater healing down next to Friar Karl, then moves away a bit.
- Kemurial - Reaches into his bag and equips a shield as his Hasted action, then uses Celestial Revelation to give him wings as a Bonus Action. Then he uses his action to cast Cure Wounds on Friar Karl. He has his griffon hang out near the side of the airship ready to catch anyone who might go overboard.

Round 5
- Viomencia - Readies an action. At the end of her turn, she makes her save on the Blinded condition.
- Rory - Looks toward the ship for any cannons, harpoons, etc. There are cannons, and the window is large enough for Rory to squeeze through, so he does so. He mans a cannon and fires it at the dragon, hitting it, and doing a bit of bludgeoning damage. He then begins to reload the cannon for next round, and yells to the crew to fire away. Uses Bonus Action to use Second Wind to heal himself for 14 HP.
- Friar Karl - Uses Orison on Lim Dul and Kemurial. He then picks up the Potion of Greater Healing that Lim Dul left him.
- Freya - Transmutes another Fireball into Acidball and sends it to the dragon, doing some good damage.
- Karag Dum Veteran - Fired cannon, but missed.
- Lim Dul - Moves toward the side of the ship, hunkers down and casts Fly on himself.
- Kemurial - Flies off the side of the boat and reenters next to Rory. He'll help Rory reload the cannon between rounds to give Rory two shots per turn.

Round 6
- Karag Dum Veteran - Fires a cannon, but misses.
- Viomencia - Flies toward the ship, and targets it with her Beam Gaze power, doing 31 Force damage to it.
- Rory - With Kemurial's assistance, Rory fires the cannon twice, missing both times. Rory then uses Second Wind to heal himself 14 more HP.
- Friar Karl - Stays put behind the deck room, out of line of sight.
- Freya - Still invisible. Casts Scorching Ray, but Acid Ray. Of the three rays two hit, and one is a CRIT! Nice damage. She then Quickens an Eldritch Blast. Three blasts, three hits! More good damage.
- Karag Dum Veteran - Loads his cannon.
- Lim Dul - Drinks a Potion of Greater Healing, then readies an action to use Telekinetic Seal on the dragon should it move close enough to do so.
- Kemurial - Continues to assist Rory in firing and loading the cannon.

Round 7
- Karag Dum Veteran - Reloads cannon.
- Viomencia - Moves toward the ship and uses Exploding Aura, making Lim Dul, Freya, Kemurial's griffon and one of the veterans to make Con Saves. Lim Dul and the veteran make it, taking half the 51 Radiant damage. Freya and the griffon fail, blowing up the griffon in one hit sadly, and doing massive damage to Freya, enough to drop her actually. Her invisibility goes away, and those on the top deck see Freya appear suddenly unconscious. After the explosion, the dragon's aura shrinks again.
- Rory - Flies through the window since the dragon is out of the cone of effective area of the cannon, then attacks the dragon three times, hitting all three times. He pumps a Blinding Smite into the first attack to blind it and do extra damage. He takes more pulse damage each hit, but that's okay at the moment. Also a d8 extra damage for Charger.
- Friar Karl - Moves up a bit to cast Minor Heal on Freya, reviving her, then moves back behind the room out of line of sight once more.
- Freya - Now conscious again thanks to Friar Karl. Uses half her movement to stand up, then uses a Bonus Action to drink a Potion of Healing for 10 points of healing. Then she uses a fifth level Telekinesis, but the dragon just barely succeeds on the Strength Save. Ah well. Freya just falls prone, using the ship's gunwale as cover. At the end of her turn, the dragon uses her I've Seen This ability, which gives attacks disadvantage against her, and advantage on saves.
- Karag Dum Veteran - Readies an action to fire the cannon if the dragon flies within its range and area of effect.
- Lim Dul - Uses boots to leap toward the dragon, then attacks twice with his lance. The first attack misses, but the second hits, doing some damage. The dragon makes its save against his weapon's Topple mastery. Because of the melee hit, Lim Dul and Rory both take the aura's pulse damage.
- Kemurial - Targets Viomencia with Tasha's Mind Whip, which would've worked as she failed her save, but she uses her last remaining Legendary Resistance. It still ends up doing more damage than expected though! That's good to know!

Round 8
- Karag Dum Veteran - Readies action to fire cannon.
- Viomencia - Bonus Action to use Jaunt to move 30' away before continuing to move further away toward the back of the ship, then she Dashes for another 80' of movement away from us.
- Rory - Rages to get extra movement, moves 120' toward the dragon, uses Hasted action to Dash to catch up, then Recklessly attacks it with his Soul Sword, critting and killing the dragon. It drops into the side of a mountain. Rory pulls the sword out of the dragon's head and flies back to the airship. Combat over.

- We all fly back to the airship, and find Friar Karl tending to Freya's wounds.
- The ship turns toward where the dragon fell. We rappel down the mooring lines to look for loot. Rory climbs down and approaches the dragon carefully. Kemurial approaches looking specifically for rings on the dragon's claws. Lim Dul looks for dragon scales, teeth, blood etc. Rory rolls a Survival check to see what we can harvest. He drinks his Potion of Enhance Ability, which enhances his Wisdom checks, to give himself Advantage on the check. With that, we're able to find, embedded in the dragon's heart, a curious item. It's an Amethyst Die. There's an engraving around it that says "PROP. OF AMETHYST KNIFE". Interesting. Kemurial knows that the Amethyst Knife is the name of a syndicate that is involved in every type of criminal scheme imaginable, organized crime abounds with them. The origins of this group were a previous adventuring party who discovered some type of item. As they tried to extract the item from the place they found it, there was an explosion that killed many in the group. Those who survived came to realize that they had acquired strange new powers, and a shared telepathic link. Thus began the group called the Amethyst Knife. We give Friar Karl the Amethyst Die for now as he has a free attunement slot.
- We take a moment to discuss whether we should try finding the dragon's lair to awaken Freya's Dragon-Touched Focus, but we decide to make note of the area and maybe come back later if we have more time.
- Lim Dul beheads the dragon and brings it with us on the ship.
- We get back up onto the ship and fly southwest toward Praag. We make it over the various mountain passes and terrain below.
- We make it to Praag. Maleki's words from before the dragon attack hits us. We see the armies surrounding the city as we approach. Escaping the city won't be possible without magical means of transport or something similar. The city is fully surrounded.
- As we approach the city, Lim Dul drops the dragon's head overboard and we watch as it falls and rolls in the Chaos army crowd below.
- As we're dropped off, Maleki says they'll take the dwarves back to the Slayer's Keep, they bid us good luck and see us off.
- People are gathering in the city to witness our arrival. The army in the city is preparing for a siege.
- When we arrive, we run into two familiar faces immediately: Maximillian Schreiber and Ulrika. They welcome us. Max greets us and says he sees his trinkets helped us. He says we'll have to tell him our stories over a few ales. Ulrika chimes in saying they arrived only a day before us. Any settlement north of here has been abandoned, and those who stayed are here. Others are pressing south toward us as fast as possible as they flee. There is much to be done, but first we need to meet with her uncle. There are provisions, but they're fully prepped. With our help, they can get the walls fully prepped and ready to go for a siege.
