- We return to Gilded Iron to touch base with them after the battle of Castle Rend.
- We're immediately brought into a meeting with all the higher ups of Gilded Iron.
- Lord Jorca Moran is here, along with all of his assistants and others around the Gilded Iron. Olesya, the Iron's main mystic is here. Soren is here as well (the info gatherer). Many of the other adventurers are here as well, including other NPC adventurers, including Gotrek and Felix, the Ubersreik Five with Sienna and Marcus and Korellian, etc.
- They lay out that the Alethi Empire have discovered that as they push west, world ending threats are being discovered. Jorca brings out a map with markers and flags. He lists various threats to the world. The Iron is not the primary defense of this world, but they have both imperial and moral duties to help where they can because of our unique capabilities. Whilst the army of the Alethi Empire are moving about trying to bring down different threats to the region, there are still things open to us left untouched. There's a lack of info to the south in the dense forest. In the valley between mountains south of us, a tyrant ruler is causing concern and we need to find a way to unseat him. Additionally, the area in the gray and red to our south is a major city hub that was destroyed by some type of meteor, blighting the area that needs to be addressed. Southeast in the sea is an island that has been perpetually "protected" by a storm system that does not move away from it. Lots of rumors going around about what's happening there, and about the civilization that used to live there. Talk about curses and magical rifts abound that need to be scouted and addressed. Finally, there are some planar issues. It seems that of the Chaos Gods, typically what keeps them in check on this planet is that they're fighting each other. But they seem to have temporarily united under a single banner. They're starting to get unified incursions out of the Chaos Wastes to the north into some of the more northern regions of the Westmarches. Jorca is of the opinion that even though they're untrusted, we could take out one of the Chaos Gods and cause enough chaos with that to destabilize their current treaty. We could go for the main leader of the unified group itself, but a targeted strike could also cause the entire advance to collapse. The Chaos Gods are Khorne, Tzeentch, Slaanesh and Nurgle.
- We do still have the traitor Saxton who has taken over Edmond Bedegar's family keep and needs to be dethroned, somewhere near Gravesford and Castle Rend.
- Renaldine says she has been away too long from contemplative prayers, and wishes to take a sabbatical. She takes her leave for now. She looks forward to rejoining us someday, but this is something she feels she must do as part of her faith. She's resplendent in priest's robes rather than her normal protective armor, and takes off toward the chapel.
- Jorca says the refugees from the northern areas have already been flooding southward. He doesn't know when their forces will reach the lakes, but they've seen that things are already pressing southward.
- Lim Dul stands up and walks forward and says he thinks he'll be of great assistance to this task should be head northward. He believes the Chaos is the natural enemy of his. He asks permission to replace the priest (Renaldine), and they oblige.
- We decide to head northwestward toward the Chaos Gods conflict, with Rory, Lim Dul, Kemurial, Freya and a Cleric Healer retainer.
- Rory is to be the Trailhand, Freya and Lim Dul working together as the Scout, and Kemurial and the Cleric Healer retainer working together as the Quartermaster.
- Our current plan is to destabilize the Chaos Gods' plans and army by weaponizing Khorne and his army against Tzeentch and his army. Doing so will hopefully destabilize them enough to cause a snowball effect.
